Hello
to all you aviation enthusiasts and welcome to the
Citrus Aviation Association for 2009.
First, let us acknowledge the wonderful job outgoing
president Meredith Kupcho has done for us the last
two years. She has worked tirelessly on our behalf
and we sincerely appreciate her efforts.
Our efforts in support of aviation minded County Commission
candidates paid off and all three were elected or
re-elected. Hopefully, we will see more support for
our airports.
Fly-outs and social events will continue with the
able help or our planning crew. Thanks to their hard
work, 2008 was very successful. The Holiday party
and picnic were well attended, and by all accounts,
huge successes. 2009 will again see interesting and
informative guest speakers. We welcome any and all
suggestions for future speakers.
Any of you aviation enthusiasts who have not yet decided
to join or rejoin the association, know that we welcome
your membership and attendance. Please come and help
make our association one the county can be proud to
support.
