Member Spotlight

 

Leonard "Pete" Haggerty

Pete lives in Homosassa and has been flying since 1980. He retired as a Master Sergeant after 23 years with the Air Force. He soloed in a C150 and has also flown C172's, Quicksilvers, Hurricanes, Flightstars and a CGS Hawk. He does not hold a private license because his main interest is in ultralights. He helped build a Quicksilver and currently owns a CGS Hawk. He is a member of the EAA, AOPA and USUA. His most memorable aviation experience is of his solo, "Nothing beat that!"
