Mike
Bauer
Mike
is a retired insurance company executive from the
Midwest. He also spent 4 years in the US Air Force,
and attained the rank of Sergeant. During his military
service, he was assigned to a USAF HH43-B in Guam
as airborne fire and rescue personnel. He soloed in
a 2001 Cessna Skyhawk, and earned his private single-engine
land license in 2002 at North County Airport in West
Palm. He loves all aspects of aviation but is particularly
interested in old warbirds. His most memorable aviation
experience was the opportunity to fly one hour in
an SNJ T-6; "What a ball!" He has also flown
a C-182, a Baron, and an Arrow III. He is a member
of AOPA and CAA.
