Debbie
Mills
Debbie
is a private pilot and is working on her instrument
rating. Her first solo was on August 9, 2001 in a
Cesssna 172. She earned her private pilot license
right here in Crystal River, though her training was
briefly disrupted by the events of 9/11.
Debbie is interested in all things aviation related,
and she is a member of the 99s International Organization
of Women Pilots. She is an enthusiastic volunteer
with Citrus Aviation Association, eagerly helping
to organize fly-outs and other special events. She
currently serves as the group's treasurer. Debbie's
most memorable flying experience thus far has been
a trip to Ft. Lauderdale on an instrument training
flight.
When she's not flying, Debbie works as a customer
service representative for a large cable and internet
company. She also enjoys traveling, bowling and she
shares space with her beloved dog Liberty.
